How to Decorate Your Home Office

For so many of us, our homes are now our offices. But you don’t necessarily need a dedicated room to use for an office---all it takes is a little out-of-the-box thinking to make the perfect office out of the available space you already have. Here are some tips to get the most out of your home office during COVID-19 and beyond:

Light and Bright: Natural light boosts productivity. If your space doesn’t have an abundance of light, try white lights that mimic daylight and offer a productivity boost. Also, clean white paint will add to the brightness.

Clean Lines, No Clutter: The bookshelves here create clean, crisp lines enhancing the sense of minimalism with functionality--but the key is: DON’T use the shelves for clutter. Place objects that are practical (books, binders) either in a drawer or aesthetically arranged alongside objects that are inviting and make you happy---and, for me, plants do the trick!

Practicality and Personality: Take the practical necessities and make a statement out of them. These pink velvet chairs are super practical but are also a personal stylistic choice. Take what’s practical and make a statement out of it! (Also, who knew a headphone holder could look so good?)
